Electrical performance
Single phase motors are either split phase start induction run, capacitor start and run, capacitor start capacitor run or capacitor start induction run. These are suitable for 230V 50 Hz single phase ac supply and conform to BS 2048 part I and BS 5000 part II. They are rated for continuous duty and have class B insulation till 40 ???C ambient. Motors are available in outputs from 1/ 4 HP to 3HP and may be 2,4 (most common), 6 or 8 poled. Advantages

Air Conditioner Motors
These motors are for application in the window type, split type and central air conditioning units of varying tonnage.

Construction
The motors are of rolled steel shell construction. The shell is powder coated to withstand corrosion. Motors are offered in both ball bearing and sleeve bearing types. In sleeve bearings the revolutionary PERMAWICK lubrication is used to provide life long lubrication for maintenance free operation.
Different types of mountings like lug mounting, pad mounting and resilient ring mounting are offered depending on market requirement. A variety of shaft extensions in both single and double shaft are provided on demand to enable the mounting of suitable fans and blowers.
Cable lengths and connectors are provided as per the mounting and assembly requirements of the customer.
Key features
Silent Operation is a key factor in the air conditioner industry and we subject our motors to stringent sound tests in addition to the electrical tests to fully satisfy even our most discerning customers. The motor noise is restricted much below the prescribed 50 dB level. The motors are provided with an in- built thermal overload protection device for added safety.
Range
The motors are available with outputs ranging from 1/10 HP to 3/ 4 HP. Most of the motors employ a run capacitor. They are suitable for 230 V, 50 Hz operation.
Washing Machine Motors
These motors are designed for application in various types of washing machines, such as semi-automatic, fully automatic, single tub, twin tub, top loading and front loading.
Construction
The motors are flange-mounted motors with sintered iron bush bearings lubricated for life.End-shields are either sheet metal pressed type with integral or separate flange or are of lightweight pressure cast aluminum.
The motors are as per the need of the customer provided with a thermal overload protection device to prevent motor burnout during unusually high load conditions.
These motors are of open type construction. An internal cooling fan is provided in certain types.
Variety of shaft extensions can be provided for different types of mountings and depending on customers' requirement.
The motors are of the capacitor run type.
